"up one's sleeve" の意味・用例
"up one's sleeve"には「ひそかに隠し持って」という意味があります。
【語源】トランプをするときにエースの札を服の袖（sleeve）の中に隠し持つところから
前につく動詞によっていろいろな意味になりそうですね。
